How to transfer a car lease in the UAE
If your plans change, you can move an eligible ShareDrive lease to another approved driver, subject to approval, with a 0 transfer fee. You can also take over someone else's lease.
Transfer your lease
- Tell us you'd like to transfer.
- The new driver applies and passes the eligibility check.
- Once approved, the lease moves to them and you're released.
- Your deposit is refunded to you when your lease is transferred.
Transfers are possible during your lease. At the end of a lease there's nothing to transfer: you either buy the car or hand it back.

Taking over a lease can mean a shorter term on a car that's already running. See lease take-over deals; if none match, set an alert and we'll tell you when one does.
