We're thrilled to have you join us! Before you hit the road, please take a moment to review these important guidelines. By following these, you'll help keep our community safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Respect the cars

Treat the host's car as if it were your own. This means driving safely, keeping it clean, and handling it with care.

Traffic rules and fines

Watch Out for Fines: The UAE has strict traffic rules. Drive carefully to avoid hefty fines.

No alcohol allowed

There's zero tolerance for drinking and driving. If you're involved in an incident and found with alcohol in your system, the consequences are severe.

Handling tickets and fines

Got a ticket?

If you receive a traffic ticket or parking fine, your host will notify you. You can't pay fines directly to the traffic department. We manage fines through our internal systems and charge a small admin fee for this service. Attempting to pay directly will still incur our admin fee, resulting in double charges.

Check fine details:

Check the fine details within 2 business days of receiving the notification. Once we've paid a fine, details are no longer available online and must be obtained in person from the traffic department. You can request a photo of the fine, but this incurs a charge.

Paying fines:

If fines are not cleared by you within 2 days of receiving the invoice, we may process the payment using the card you provided.

Payment and penalties

Paying for your ride:

If you drive a vehicle without prepaying, there's a penalty of AED 75 per day. Continued non-payment may result in the car being disabled.

Black points:

Clear any black points within a week to avoid a daily penalty of AED 75. Accumulating too many black points can impact our business and your ability to rent.

Deposit and account activation:

A deposit of AED 1500 is required to activate your account. This can be refunded upon request within 48 hours, however the refund request must be sent after 21 days from your last rental.
